The Brisket Belt Stand-up Comedy Tour is selling out venues and modernizing the Borscht Belt schtick with a southern Jewish twist. The Brisket Belt is touring throughout the Southeast from Atlanta, Birmingham, Tallahassee, Nashville, Huntsville to Charlotte and is now branching out to NYC and Atlantic City. Co-produced by comedians David HT Rosen and Amanda Marks, each show is cultivated to be a unique experience for your town and relatable to a multigenerational and diverse audience. Rosen and Marks are the featured performers alongside the legendary Jerry Farber with a homegrown hometown favorite in each stop as the show host.
David HT Rosen was born in Kingston Pennsylvania, But will tell you he is originally from NYC. This Atlanta transplanted comic has been half of the famed comedy duo A Jew and a Black guy for 9 years. HtRosen was a session drummer and musician prior to breaking in comedy. Touring, producing, and filling theaters and clubs all over the U.S. HT broke off on a solo career a few years ago. Adding a guitar in the act and then adding a full back band creating HT and the Kind. An Ole school act reminiscent of the Catskills Borscht Belt Rickles style.
Amanda Marks is a quirky and endearing comedian, content creator, and super (tired) mom, who is a 5th Generation Alabama Jew now residing in Georgia. She performs stand-up comedy and MCs events throughout the country. She recently opened for comedian Judy Gold at The City Winery. Amanda co-hosts the Sis & Tell podcast, voted "Best Podcast" for Creative Loafing's Best of Atlanta
2017. Her colorful brand of stand-up comedy blends Jewish mom neuroses with a very Southern upbringing. Amanda's comedy is like your favorite bbq brisket, both inexplicably Southern and Jewish.
Jerry Farber’s unique style of hip piano finesse and warm-blooded humor endears him to fans. Best of all, he personalizes each performance, weaving his audience into each routine. He performs at a near exhausting pace that leaves a crowd roaring at this Georgia Football Fan / Redneck routine and mesmerized by his music.
Fans have voted Jerry One of the Top Five Celebrities in Atlanta in an Atlanta Constitution / WSB Radio Poll. He was elected Entertainer of the Year by Atlanta Magazine three times in recent years.
